While thinking of how to approach the dissection of this quote, I was driven to the Prophet Jeremiah. In synopsis, Jeremiah had to answer the prophets who attempted to speak through the words of God some ensuing prophecies. He had to point out that these prophets were false in prophesying that the Babylonian captivity was to the glory of God.

To the contrary Jeremiah prophesied through God in true fashion that in fact the captivity is the necessary stop on the way to His assigned purpose. Jeremiah 29:11 says: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

So, regardless of how your path looks or what obstacles present themselves, know that your calling and purpose are sure. God has planted your dreams and goals inside you in a fashion that allows you to walk into it through trials and tribulations. Don't be deterred by discouragement, setback, side turns, enemies, or any level of discouragement.

You can be confident in everything good that you desire. Philippians 1:6 says: "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ"

God has designed us to prosper towards our goals and dreams, when they are rooted in good intentions. He blesses us according to our intentions.

So, Keep your focus and be confident in your expectation. Then be grateful and thankful for what God is doing and will continue to do.
